Serves: 1 elevated trash gremlin

This is what happens when:

You woke up craving a bacon egg & cheese but you only have bougie ingredients and an air of entitlement. This toast is crunchy, salty, rich, and just the right amount of over-the-top. It's basically a breakfast sandwich that took a gap year in Europe.

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 thick slice of sourdough or country bread

  • 2 slices of prosciutto

  • 1 egg (fried, poached, or soft-boiled—just make it sexy)

  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • 2 tbsp ricotta or cream cheese (optional but encouraged)

  • Chili crisp or hot honey (your choice of chaos)

  • Optional: microgreens, flaky sea salt, lemon zest, black pepper

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Heat a nonstick pan over medium and crisp up the prosciutto slices until they’re wavy and crunchy (about 2–3 min per side). Remove and drain on a paper towel.

  2. In the same pan, fry your egg sunny-side up in butter or olive oil until the edges are lacy and golden.

  3. Toast your bread—really toast it. It should have crunch. Butter optional.

  4. Smear with ricotta or cream cheese, layer on crispy prosciutto, top with egg.

  5. Finish with a drizzle of chili crisp or hot honey, flaky salt, and a few greens if you’re feeling artsy.

✨ Food Styling Tips (High-End Hangover Vibes):

  • Plate on a dark ceramic or stone plate for maximum color contrast.

  • Let that yolk pop right at the edge—ooze = likes.

  • Criss-cross the prosciutto for texture, then hit it with a drizzle swirl.

  • Sprinkle lemon zest over everything for that ✨I didn’t try but I’m amazing✨ energy.
